Argh

So I just found out my early phone shift employee will be out all next week, from him (recovering from surgery; it's more or less legitimate). I've no idea how long my boss (not supervisor; he's away in Australia for three weeks) knew about it, but responded, basically, "Uh, yeah, we're going to need someone to cover his shift, now that you ask...". Guess who that means? Yup, it's me, coming in at 7:30 all next week. At least it's a short one, but damn, the efficiency of this place staggers me.

No theory, no intellectualization, nothing but emotion and impression: Gay Pride Month makes me want to cry, makes me physically distressed to the point that I'm desperate to throw up, to just get the nausea and churning over with.

I want more freedom, more power, more choices available for everyone. When did that become an unpopular and unsupported position?
