The air was warm and welcoming when I stepped outside this evening; I could feel its pressure on all sides, comfortably. The sun lingered at the horizon like a visitor at the door, not quite ready to leave. My favorite stretch of the Chattahoochee was fat, lazy, and happy as it stretched around the bend, long golden rays of sunlight flickering off it's watery brown, wrinkled surface. I can't express how happy this all makes me.
