You seem to be returning to a sense of self as an actor, an intiator and collaborator, after having spent time in the purgatory of perceived obligation and duty. Watching the collapse of a much valued presence into an ill-fitting shell of role and more is always painful, but watching the emergence of a curious, engaged and aware person from anything is always good.
