I'm very afraid they're going to offer me a job tomorrow. Honestly, I'd be much happier as runner up and Ms Congeniality, I think.

how much of myself will I have to suppress, and is any price worth that?

my question is: is it appreciably different than the amount you're already suppressing at current job, which has alot of its own Issues, not all necessarily related to the above, but are also not not nefarious in their own rights (worst manager in the world is a pretty hard thing to live with on a day-to-day basis). best thing: since you're not sounding thrilled with the possibility of this change, you can afford to tailor make it an offer you Can't Refuse.
