I don't care if lemmings don't really rush into the sea...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

A nice, long evening walk with you and the sprout thru Roswell park. It was a warm, mellow Southern evening, and it felt as tho all three of us were on the same wavelength.

Working up the courage to ask you if it was ok if I touched your hair :-)

Drinking lots and lots of Chartreuse. Feeling all fuzzy and warm. Getting all excited with you while listening to Dresden Dolls in your basement at your birthday party.

I'd like to have non-virtual memories to post here. So I owe you a comment once I get some.

you smiling so wide
dressed in a black shirt
too tall above me
like a skyscraper effigy
to the beauty that is understood madness in recollection
and then you said
"is it okay if i kisse dyou goodbye? i do that with my friends"
and all teh con freaks walked around us like we were an obstruction in a raging river of fandom
and i was nervous
but it was seemingly exciting
for the brief moment

Perhaps, and this only a perhaps, it was the first time I crashed at your house. I entered with trepidation, wondering if I somehow fit into your world. As the evening wore on, the trepidation slid into comfort...and I began to realize that you were someone I had always known, but had never met.

Children are excellent judges of character.

Sprout is no exception.
