My semi-annual dental cleaning turned into an hour and a half endeavor; I am apparently becoming of an age such that I'm losing or wearing out old fillings. The upshot is that dental technology is much less hellish than it used to be, and I replaced old silver fillings with new white ones. The down side is that my arms and hands ache from the tension.
