Maybe it's just the mood of a gloomy, quiet morning, or my chemical mix being off (not enough caffiene?), but the feeling that is with me thus far today is that the world is too harsh, like everything is lit with blazing-hard candlepowered spots, where I'd much prefer a softer, more indirect light source. My metaphor is probably impenetrable, but it's the best I can seem to do at the moment. It would be nice to feel that warm/soft/fuzzy/friendly was out there, but today, at this moment, everything looks/feels razor-sharp, crisp, and hard.

I realize that, while I kind of asked around it, last night, I didn't actually ask you specifically about this.

Are things still feeling as jarring?

I think I get the less stark, thing, but not the Mars/Moon comparison ... remember in Fairyhead World space=boring (unless lava is involved ...)

Is this a feeling that you've had all your life, or something relatively new?

I know we've talked some about the feeling of being 'off' somehow. Is this related or very different?

Heh, only you would think in terms of planets' atmospheres! ;-)

It makes sense, though, now that you've explained it to me.

I think, in a figurative sense, I see what you're saying, as well. I think that, most days, I'm seeing things in the moon sense, but those times when the Ambien kicks in just right, I'm seeing things in the earth sense.

While new, has it been happening frequently?
