Bars make me happy, freakier bars even more so. Add the company of people I genuinely like, both longterm, known and newer, less known, and it's just about a perfect night for me.

it would be fortuitous to meet you one day. would've liked to tip a glass in your general direction. sometimes i get lulled into thinking that my LJ friends are like the best kind of next-door-neighbors; except when in real life i want to go next door and ask if they want to walk down to the pub and get a drink.

yeah, that would be pretty cool (and, I'm convinced, with enough social solvents applied, not painfully awkward on my part). If I ever get off my ass and head for the coast, we'll have to work something out.
