irritating to good

Driving in to work today, I noticed a blue Honda right up on my ass that started flashing its lights and then backing off. I'm not a big fan of traffic anyway, and it was bumper to bumper at about 15 mph, so it's not like I could go faster or anything. It kinda irritated me, but I tried to blow it off and keep going. About a mile later, I moved over to the exit lane and he sped up to parallel me and tapped his horn to get my attention. I glanced over, and he was leaning forward, giving me the thumbs up. Confused, I thumbs-upped him back, and then he pulled ahead. When he did, I noticed a Kerry Edwards sticker on his bumper, and realized he was trying to show support for my angry political bumper stickers ("Bush is a punkass chump", "Bush & Sons, formerly the United States of America", "Ignore Your Rights and They'll Go Away", and two anti-W stickers on either side).

"I'll freedom-kiss the French for their political dissent"
-Sage Francis (what I was listening to at the time)

Horns need to be more expressive. Their default message is, "Watch it, you jerk!", but sometimes drivers want to say "Hi!" or even "You go girl!" instead.

We're always trying to figure out ways to greet other hybrid owners on the road. Too bad you can't waggle your wings in a car.

Great stickers, especially that first one! *chuckles*
