I keep expecting to hear my old name at work, even though it's never been in use here.

I can't help but think this means something.

as in, a sense of foreboding?

Or probably a sense of pressure and expectation (or maybe of being trapped) that is connected to the past via that mnemonic tag.

Not legally, not yet, no. Adrien is not my given name, but it's ambiguously resonant, so I use it.
