I like echidne's writing, but I found I stopped reading it when it was mostly olvzl posting. There's something Charles Mudede-like about olvzl's writing style that really irks me. (Bizarrely, I've since learned to appreciate Mudude's posts on slog.)

But, huh! I went and checked again and it looks like it's back to mostly echidne posting. Yay.

I've never encountered Mudede, but I'm not a fan of olvzl much at all. Echidne, on the other hand, is smart, keenly focused, and compassionate. She's to economics for me the the way bitch|lab used to be for theory (back when she was posting publicly).
