I just worry that there's no place for me: not among the freaks, the weirdos, the so-called gender different, the magicky, just... no place. I don't want that to be true, but it's nobody's fault if it is. It just, sucks.

I identify with this in many ways. I can't decide if it comes from inside or outside. Maybe it's a bit of both.

For me, its' inside in the sense of knowing who I am (to the extent that I do) and outside, to the extent that, despite having arisen from these very circumstances and social conditions, I'm apparently a one off that just doesn't seem to fit.

I totally get what you're saying. It sucks ass being the one who sees all the different perspectives and never fits in the one mold. For you, though, I know this to be true - There are people that you love that love you back. That's not a bad place.

It would be probably unbearable without that, it's true.

I keep hearing, in progressive circles, that one can't really take care of others until one sees to one's own needs, but I've never operated as if that were true. It's easy to take care of others, especially when I have no idea how to take care of myself, or even what I need.
