I'm in a game where it feels like I can only "win" if the concept of winning is drastically scaled down, quite possibly to the extent that I will die a mass of potential never realized.

I do take your point; I am loved, and that means a lot, if not (almost) everything. But the possibility of 'never' is a fuck ton to bear, and I'm feeling tired right now.
