Narrowing the focus
Dec. 18th, 2002 10:57 amThanks for all the excellent answers to my earlier series of questions; it's helping, more than I expected. So now, if any of you are so inclined, let me be a little more specific:
Are "man" and "woman" largely "natural" categories to you?
Are these the only optios to you, or are there others?
Do you assign yourself to one of these categories?
Assuming you do, how important is this assignment to you?
Do you assign these categories to others?
If so, how important is that assignment to you?
To what extent, if any, does your assignment of category to yourself affect your dealings with others?
To what extent, if any, does your assignment of category to others affect your dealings with them?
Feel free to go off on tangents, expand your points as you like, etc; it's perspective and information I'm after.
Thanks, again.
