"They're always out here, just sometimes more evident than others."

"Oh, that's sweet."

"Yeah. It makes it hard, sometimes, because the acceptance here is so different than what I experience with people."

Out of nowhere this afternoon a sense of... some sadness came over me, and I became certain that I am living an impoverished life, and that I do not know how to enrich it. The nagging feeling of starving in the midst of abundance is there, also.
