One of our clients is in the process of moving their tier 2 network and application support from their own people to us. We were told this was to happen on 11/1, and began acting accordingly, assigning these issues to our people. Today, 11/11, I found out that was a "mistake", that the PM had moved it back to 11/16 and just "forgot" to tell us. How did I find out? By one of the users on client site not getting a response from her time sensitive issue that led to me looking into it, and finding out that, for eleven days, issues were not getting any attention because the PM "forgot". Of course, the clients turn to me all upset and wanting to know what's going on, because to them, I'm the voice of my company.

Yeah, whee.
