I really love the video for Massive Attack's Angel (go watch it; it's that good). It brilliantly builds tension without explaining it, and at least in me, evokes a great deal of concern for the one being chased (Daddy G, I think), to the point that I found it hard to watch and wasn't at all sure I liked it until the end, at which point I absolutely loved it.

The moment in which the runner turns, back to the precipice, to confront his horde of pursuers: that's what I want. If, as in the video, they all begin to run from me, that would be ideal.
