It's been a long week

After six days and longer nights, we finally got our AC working again yesterday. This means that last night was the first thing approaching decent sleep I've gotten all week. (If I could have slept outside under mosquito netting, I'm sure I would have been fine, but being in the hot stillness of inside air is oppressive enough to make sleep difficult) And yet, I'm still feeling kind of brain dead and slow today. I just want to go home and nap in the cool air.

aw, yeah...

I love the fact that heat, humidity, and rain keep "sane", "normal" people inside, leaving the outside less populated by those who don't, or won't, appreciate it. On days like this it reinforces my feeling of a cooler world just around the corner from most people, if you only know where to look.
