I've often noted, almost bitterly, that things have never been so bad that they can only get better, that I've never been able to throw caution to the wind because there are things in my life with which I can't or won't do without. Maybe it's time I started acting like I value those things instead of begrudging them.

Follow up to skiadaimonos from a long time ago: Sometimes, I would like me, a lot. Maybe one of the positive points of being an aesthete is trying to be the me I would like more often and in more circumstances.
