(no subject)

I want to remap things that were poorly connected, or may have been better connected at one point but through dis- or misuse came to be clogged, weakened or simply nonfunctional. I'd like to start over, but recognize that as an impossible ideal that should be hopefully mined for inspiration rather than disappointment. The trick, difficult as it is, seems to be on reworking existing systems of connections, or creating newer, better ones, without disconnecting the currently functional (if less than ideal) ones until they're no longer needed. It's daunting work, but for the first time in a long time, it doesn't feel impossible. How strange that scary and nigh-impossible feels like optimism.
