Walking up the rise to where I can see the path and trees on both sides for the first time, Goldfrapp's Black Cherry came on. With the first organ notes on fuzzy reverb, looking down the long corridor of tall straight trees and newly green leaves exploding up to the dark, clear blue sky, I couldn't help but laugh. 'This is what churches are supposed to be like', I thought to myself, and wandered around staring at the world like it was new.
