Riki Wilchins, Executive Director of GenderPAC, will speak at Emory on Tuesday, November 19th, 7:00 PM, in Winship Ballroom (3rd floor Dobbs University Center). Her talk is titled "Ending Gender Stereotypes: A New Path to Full Equality."
Wilchins is author of "Read My Lips: Sexual Subversion and the End of Gender," and co-editor with Joan Nestle and Clare Howell of the recent publication "GenderQueer: Beyond the Sexual Binary." Her essays have appeared in Social Text, Girlfriends, and the Village Voice as well as in the books "Women On Women" and "Pomosexuals."
A reception and booksigning will follow the talk.
