So, one of my cooler coworkers was just making fun of a client on the phone for being a transsexual (not so the client could hear, of course). And so that leaves me feeling angry, but not knowing how the hell to confront something like that. On the one hand, this is the same person who would likely make fun of anyone who was irritating, but... I haven't heard her go off about presumed racial identity, presumed sexuality, etc., so the feeling is that, once again, it's safe to mock the gender different.
