interesting

I cut my hair recently, short but still spiky, and it just struck me; I think shorter hair makes me look a bit femmier, though I can't put my finger on why.

Of course I have no photographic evidence to offer.

Something about boxes as forts, stable places to stand or regroup, and being surrounded by sharp lines that limit movement on all sides, that cut when pushed against and run to and through others, such that struggling against them often hurts or makes others uncomfortable.
