is a very sick kittie, and will be going to the vet in moments. Wish him well.

Boris update

He had an intestinal blockage, and was dehydrated; both have been, or are being, fixed.

He also had bloodwork that indicates a liver problem, in addition to hyperthyroidism. The latter may explain some or all of the former, so the initial course of action is to treat the hyperthyroidism. If the blood levels remain, it may be something worse, even liver cancer, so he'll bear watching.

But, he can come home today, which makes both of us relieved.
