Not only have I been very distracted lately, and out of touch last week, but my phone is dead or dying (it won't detect signal most of the time, and drops it like it's hot on the rare occasions it does find one). If anyone's been trying to contact me via cell, I've not been ignoring you. I need to get it replaced, but I don't know when that's going to happen.

My life, though very full, has a hole in it now, that it will have for the rest of my life. I'm not really sad about this, though I do miss him, and always will. I was the last thing he saw or felt, and he even tried to purr in my lap, only he didn't have the strength. But sadness is wrong, somehow, like I'm not honoring the awesome presence I had the pleasure and honor of knowing. So, I'd like to tell you all, over time, about the best cat I've ever known.
