(no subject)

I dreamed about work several times last night after having spent way too much time there yesterday. I need to find a better way to feed the part of me that likes to be the focusing point in the midst of chaos, because I think opportunism in the workplace may not be the best thing for me.

Of course, I also dreamed about being at a weird geek convention with my best friend from high school (both as adults now), sitting in a panel room on Dr Who (the new pretty one). I remember being curiously intrigued by a couple of people several rows up, and then going away and doing something else. There was some time shifting involved, and we went back, earlier, to the same talk. I looked over my shoulder, then leaned in to my friend and said, "We're sitting six rows back (behind ourselves)". He seemed less impressed than I, even though I was mostly just amused.
