Are you getting anything out of the card drawing? I'm curious if so, and if so, what?

Yes, definitely. It's kind of a focus/filter thing for me right now... something to pay attention to as I go through the day. But, I've only just started doing the daily draw this week. I expect it will evolve.

I've been shuffling the cards and picking one in whatever way feels right at the time (whatever ends up on top, or fanning them out and picking one), then I interpret the picture on my own before looking it up (so far, my impressions are matching up with the booklet, pretty much). I try to keep that impression in mind for the day... a glass through which to see things, and a mirror in which to examine my own reactions.

Possibly significant: Monday, the first day I decided to do this, I started to shuffle the cards, and accidentally dropped them at my feet. The only card to land face up was The Empress, so that was my card for that day.

Not as much difference, no. I didn't get the material, the artisan bit personally, nor the apprenticeship (probably because I have a wee tiny problem with submission to authority), but I could definitely see the connections more this time.

And it's not really butting in. I know little to nothing about tarot, so have at.
