Oh.my.god.
It's good. Not 'something I feel like I need to justify just 'cause she's hot good', not 'great voice poorly used in crappy music good', but complex, evocative, subtle, playful, talented and skilled good. The gap I perceive between voice/personality and vocal skill seems to be closing rapidly, with the former coming up on the latter at a brisk pace (in my dream world, she sings where the former slightly eclipses the latter from time to time; the place where people sing just beyond their range and talent reeks of passion, to me). I'm really, really impressed by the production skills of DJ Premier, who seems to have studied intently the lessons presented by Geoff Barrow (the retro flavored pops and skips are an incredibly well used touch).
And, because I'm a big old aesthete, better music just makes her hotter :)
