Bowie was the first thing I ever purchased on cassette with my own money. Whatever "Blue Jean" was on.

By the way, your CDs kept me wonderful company on the trip to Oxford; I don't think I ever said thank you for that.

It was Kiss "Destroyer" for me (I was precocious, and really liked their boots. That should have told me something...)

This is a quiz? Tonight was my first album as well. I bought it with Queen's The Game. Both were vinyl, both were paid with my part-time job funds from the local pizzeria in Fairfax, VA. Thanks to you both for this morning's flashback. Now, where's my denim jacket with the Stryper patch?
