I want to undo damage to myself. I want to kick out the colonizers, to nationalize the creations that cannot be dismantled. I want to be able to want because I want, and have that be enough. I want to stop flinching in perpetual anticipation of the lash. I want to stop feeling constantly surveilled. I want, I want, I want.

I want to be able to be strong without worrying about standing out too much, becoming either a target or lightning rod for the neuroses of others.
I want to be able to be kind without it being second guessed.
I want to be present.
I want to be able to accept what is offered.
I want to be able to face what I want, and ask for it.
I want to make things better.


And I'm willing to work for it.
