Bits and pieces

I have a lot for which to be grateful; I hope I manage a better job of doing that this year (all hail arbitrary markers!). Most know if I'm speaking of them in this, but if you're absolutely, 100% certain this doesn't pertain to you, it totally does (heh, yes, I mean you).

A return to some degree of ease, as well as some potential to be realized, seems just over the horizon. This is indeed good.

I don't understand why asking for something for which the answer is almost certain to be affirmative is so stressful.

I really, really like watching friends relax and enjoy themselves. This is one of the best things for me, particularly when the most important is one of those involved.

I hate having to get up on mornings when the rest of the world is free.
