Nah, kids are largely cool, flexible and safe, and way tougher and smarter than most adults give them credit for being. Of course it could be a symptom of what the tiny one always says: "All animals like you: dogs, cats, and children."

I'd say that, just even having a list of things that you're not afraid of is pretty good. Some days, I wouldn't be able to think of even 1 thing to put on a list, like that ...
