Spodgumine had another big seizure this morning. The cats were begging for food at around 4:45, and its' been such a challenge to get her to retain weight that I decided to relent. I carried her into the kitchen, and just about as soon as I sat her down, she contorted and started seizing. I woke up fairyhead, who smartly covered her with a blanket so she wouldn't hurt herself, and we rode it out with her. She always sounds so miserable when they end, and she's just a freaked out mess of a cat afterward. It took about ten minutes, maybe less, for the freak out to pass, after which she was back to a ravenous little beastie, but what a way to start the morning.

We could run tests to find out, but they all involve putting her under sedation, and at her age, with her poor health (renal disease, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat) it seems like a poor trade, a little information that can't meaningfully improve her life for the chance of her having a bad reaction to anaesthesia.
