It's cool with a hint of cold behind it, lightly but steadily raining, and it feels good for some reason. It feels right for this time of year. Usually I start pining about loss of daylight hours, about the fading of green, busy life and I look forward to the dark winters with dread, but this time around, something is different. Maybe I'm starting to trust that the sun will come back, and that it's not personal. Wouldn't that be something?
