(no subject)

I am pissy and grumpy this morning, and the stupid part of it is, it's all work related. I hate that something so relatively unimportant (other than providing means of food/shelter/etc.) can have such a negative impact on my life and general outlook.

bah.

And it just keeps getting better...

So gimpyboy is out all week (the reason I'm coming in early); normally, that would mean I'm in early all week.

BUT NO! Two of my other team members are also off on Friday. If I didn't think it was due to sloppiness and lack of forethought, I might be flattered that they think I can singlehandedly do the work of the entire team, but there's no compliment in being the target of incompetence.

So, one person will work an early half day, leaving me to work 11-8, on a Friday night, and taking away a chunk of the weekend, which is the only time I have to see my beloved.
